Texmont Property
Acquisition of the Texmont Leases : Pursuant to an agreement dated March 15, 2006 between the Corporation and New Texmont Explorations Ltd. (the “Purchase Agreement”), the Corporation purchased the leasehold interest of New Texmont Explorations Ltd. in 14 contiguous mining leases located in Bartlett and Geikie Townships, Porcupine Mining Division, Ontario (the “Texmont Leases”), comprising the larger part of the Texmont Property.
Bartlett-English Properties and Contiguous Claims
The Bartlett-English Property crosses the common corners of Bartlett, English, Geikie and Zavitz Townships in the Porcupine Mining Division, Ontario. The center of the contiguous claim block occurs ~6 km south of the Texmont Property’s southern boundary astride the Redstone River and Muskrat Lake (for ~1,198 hectares). Recent geophysics work has been complete on the southern claims below where mineralized targets have been defined. The geophysics has identified similar anomalies to the Texmont deposit to the north.
