Fletcher Nickel Appoints VP and Seeks Director
Toronto, Canada, November 21st, 2008 – Fletcher Nickel Inc (TSX: FL) advises that its Board of Directors has regretfully accepted the resignation of John Jakolev, due to personal reasons. The Board’s Corporate Governance and Nominating Committee comprised of independent directors Gregg Sedun, Marvin Singer and Michael O’Leary are considering candidates to nominate for appointment to fill the vacancy. The Company’s Board of Directors has also approved the appointment of Stephen Dunn of Toronto, as a Vice-President.
Metallurgical test work is currently being undertaken in order to determine nickel recovery characteristics for the Texmont Mine deposit, and its northward extension partially tested by the Company’s recent drilling program. The program’s data is presently being assembled and analyzed to determine parameters of a preliminary economic assessment.
